Intranasal Insulin Treatment for Alzheimer's Disease

Suzanne Craft, PhD, professor of gerontology and geriatric medicine, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, discusses NIH-sponsored research exploring the role of intranasal insulin in treating memory loss. In January 2015, Craft published study results in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease indicating that intranasal insulin helped to boost short-term memory.
